Tree Trimming

Tree trimming, also known as pruning, is the process of removing certain parts of a tree for a variety of reasons, including safety, health, and aesthetics. Trimming can involve removing dead or diseased branches, reducing the size of a tree to prevent it from interfering with power lines or buildings, or shaping a tree to improve its appearance. Proper tree trimming is essential to maintaining the health of a tree, as well as preventing potential hazards that could result from falling branches or overgrown trees.

Tree Removal

Tree removal is the process of cutting down a tree and removing it from its location. It is often necessary to remove trees that are dead, diseased, or pose a risk to surrounding structures or people. Tree removal should always be carried out by a trained professional, as it can be dangerous and requires specialized equipment. The process typically involves assessing the tree’s height, location, and surrounding environment, as well as determining the best method of removing it safely.

Once the tree is cut down, the stump and roots are usually removed as well to prevent regrowth. Tree removal can have a significant impact on the environment and ecosystem, and it is important to consider the environmental implications before deciding to remove a tree. In some cases, tree removal can be avoided by pruning or trimming the tree, which can help to address the issue while preserving the tree’s health and ecosystem benefits.

Contract Climbing Arborists

Contract climbing arborists are professional tree climbers who are hired by tree care companies, government agencies, or private individuals to perform various tasks related to tree care, such as pruning, removal, cabling, and bracing. Unlike ground workers who use aerial lifts or other equipment to access trees, contract climbing arborists climb trees using ropes and specialized equipment to access the branches and other parts of the tree. They are highly trained and experienced in the use of ropes, knots, and climbing techniques to safely and efficiently navigate through trees, while minimizing any potential damage to the tree or surrounding property. Contract climbing arborists are also trained in proper tree care techniques and can provide expert advice on tree health, maintenance, and removal. They work on a contract basis and are typically hired for specific projects, such as large-scale pruning or removals, or on an ongoing basis for regular tree maintenance.

Log Pick Up & Haulage

Log pick up and haulage is a service that involves the collection and transportation of logs from one location to another. This service is typically provided by logging companies, arborists, or other businesses involved in the forestry industry. The logs may be collected from a variety of sources, including commercial timber harvests, residential tree removals, or storm damage.

Advice For All Tree Related Enquiries

Tree care advice is an important service that can benefit both tree owners and the environment. Trees play a vital role in the health of our planet, and it is important to ensure they are well-maintained and healthy.

As a tree care advisor, our expertise can help clients identify potential problems with their trees, offer solutions to prevent or treat these issues, and provide guidance on proper tree care practices.

Reduction Pruning

Reduction pruning is a tree pruning technique that involves selectively removing branches from a tree’s canopy to reduce its overall size while maintaining its natural shape. This pruning method is commonly used to control the growth of a tree that has outgrown its space or is interfering with power lines, buildings, or other structures. Reduction pruning is performed by removing the branch tips rather than removing entire branches, which helps to avoid damaging the tree’s structure and health.

This technique can also be used to remove dead or damaged branches, improve the tree’s form, and increase the amount of light that can penetrate the tree’s canopy. However, it’s important to note that reduction pruning should be done by a professional arborist, as improper pruning can cause permanent damage to the tree and lead to safety hazards.
